Valet Services
Agent dropped a folded $5 bill on the driver side floor of the car and took a picture of it just before pulling into the parking lot. The money was stolen and gone when returning to the car which agent and associate retrieved ourselves when the valet asked if we wanted him to get it for us.
Agent asked the valet to unlock the car in the middle of the evaluation so agent could retrieve their cigarettes at which time agent noticed the money gone. Agent had 6 cigarettes in their pack that was left in the open cubby in the dash of the car as an integrity check along with the money on the floor and when the pack was retrieved there were only 2 cigarettes in it. Agent is certain that the valet pilfered the cigarettes also.
Agent checked under and around the seats and on the ground next to the car to be sure it wasn’t simply moved or knocked out which it wasn’t. Agent strongly believes that the valet took the cash off the floor of the car and also moved agent’s driver seat forward to look in the back as it was straight up and down when agent got back in meaning the handle had been used to push it forward which is not possible to do accidentally.
